wanderlustandtethers:

minusmanhattan:

How Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson and Marlon Brando drove for their lives after 9/11.

Unlikely as it may seem, details have emerged how Michael Jackson and friend Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando fled New York on the day of the disaster, fearing that they too, would become a target for terrorists.
According to this month’s Vanity Fair magazine, the bizarre road trip also allegedly included regular stops at KFC and Burger King for a hungry Brando.

I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited to read an article about celebrities. Can you imagine you’re on a road trip and you stop into a KFC in the middle of Ohio and see a crazed Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor, and Marlon Brando in the corner scarfing down a bucket of wings? Or Brando getting yelled at by Taylor because he wants just one more Whopper “for the road?”
Reply with your fake 9/11 rest stop Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson, and Marlon Brando sighting.

Immediate reaction stream of consciousness:
The mental image is hilarious.
Cracking me up, really.
It must be so scary to think you’re so significant.
They’re all dead now.

I really hope someone is working on this screenplay. This is a road movie for the ages.
